Under general supervision of the Branch Manager, the Jr. Processor is responsible for assisting the Processor and production sales team in the coordination of all functions related to the processing and closing of loans.

Responsibilities

Essential job functions

  • Follows up for signed disclosures
  • Tracks orders desk requests; 411, property profiles, VOE, flood, binder, prelim, etc.
  • Orders appraisals
  • Initial scrub of file/needs list. Sends list to client via email, copies LO and requests in Blend, our application software.
    • List will include any applicable explanations i.e., joint asset, credit, HOA dues, cash out, etc. ​​
  • Preliminary income calculation, rerun AUS if any major discrepancies
    • Elevate to Sr. Processor if borrower is Self-employed
  • Reviews incoming supporting docs for completeness i.e., pay variation, large deposits, cut off statements, missing pages, etc.
  • Updates Blend as documents are received and requests additional docs if needed
  • Advises processor when ready to submit (will submit when income/asset supporting docs are complete)
  • Other duties as assigned

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Qualifications

Minimum requirements

  • 1-2 Years of LOA or Processing experience preferred.
  • High School or GED required

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to produce detailed and accurate documents
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision
  • Ability to perform work timely and accurately in a fast paced office environment
  • Organizational ability and problem solving critical
  • Ability to use various computer software
