Responsibilities

  • Review of investor loan applications and the procurement and preparation of the necessary documentation to obtain investor approvals and the annual re-certifications as requested by the investors.   
  • Manage the administrative function within the loan pricing engine for the profitability margins as established within Company’s pricing policy.
  • Assist department manager as needed for preparation of correspondence to investors and retail GEM branches.
  • Interface with various company department heads for coordination of investor meetings, product introductions and manager meetings.
  • Download investor rates as needed and archive to the appropriate investor folders.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements

  • Two plus years of relevant financial services industry experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial markets in the secondary mortgage markets is a plus for being able to effectively understand and comprehend secondary math.
  • Strong PC skills for Word and Excel. 
  • Attention to detail and possessing strong analytical skills. 

Abilities required

 

  • Beginner to intermediate skills with Microsoft Office suite with strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws applicable to mortgage banking industry.
  • Ability to work well independently as well as on a team to achieve department and corporate goals.
  • Proficient in the management of priorities and workflow.
  • Requires strong verbal and written communication skills to develop clear and concise memorandums to effectively articulate policies and procedures and program descriptions.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
